🇩🇪🇨🇭 Da ich bald für ein paar Tage wegfahren werde, habe ich wieder eine Serie von Tipps zusammengestellt: Diesmal geht es um die Verhaltensregeln für Sprecher im Studio.
🇪🇸 Pronto me voy de vacaciones un par de dias con mi familia os he preparado de nuevo una serie de consejos. Esta vez se trata de las líneas de conducta en el estudio para locutores.
🇬🇧 As I will go on a short road trip with my family, I have prepared a new series of tips. This time it about the studio etiquette vor voice-actors.
1. Get to know the client
🇩🇪🇨🇭 Setze Dich im Vorfeld der Aufnahme mit dem Kunden auseinander. Welche Produkte oder Dienstleistungen bietet er an? Welche ist seine Hauptzielgruppe? Welche Kampagnen wurden in der Vergangenheit gemacht? usw. Es hilft, mehr über den Kunden zu wissen, um seine Erwartungen erfüllen oder gar übertreffen zu können.
🇪🇸 Investiga antes de la grabación sobre el cliente. ¿Que productos o servicios ofrece? ¿Cual es su grupo destinatario principal? ¿Cuales campañas se han hecho en el pasado? etc. Si sabes más sobre tu cliente, será mas facil atender o incluso sobrepasar sus expetativas.
🇬🇧 Do some research on your client previously to the recording. What products or services do they offer? Who is their main target audience? What campaigns were made in the past? etc. If you know more about your client it will be easier to meet or even excel their expectations.
2. Be well-rested
🇩🇪🇨🇭 Sorge dafür, dass du frisch und ausgeruht an die Aufnahmesession kommst. Damit signalisierst Du, dass es Dir wichtig ist und dass du bereit bist, Dein Bestes zu geben. Es gibt keine zweite Chance für den ersten Eindruck.
🇪🇸 Asegurate de llegar descansado y aseado a la sesión. Así signalizarás que la sesión es importante para ti y que estas listo para dar lo mejor de tí. No tienes una segunda oportunidad para la primera impresión.
🇬🇧 Make sure to arrive well-rested and clean to the recording-session. This way you signalize that this job is important for you and that you are ready to give your best! You don't get a second chance for a first impression.
3. Arrive early
🇩🇪🇨🇭 Erscheine pünktlich oder besser noch mindestens 10 Minuten zu früh zur Aufnahmesession, damit Du ohne Stress im Studio ankommen kannst, Dich in der Kabine installieren kannst und alle Teilnehmende begrüssen kannst. Hilf mit, positive und kreative Ambiance zu erhalten. 🇪🇸 Trata de llegar a tiempo o mejor con un minimo de diez minutos de adelanto a la sesión. De esta manera tendrás tiempo para llegar al estudio sin prisas, instalarte en la cabina y saludar a todos los participantes. Así ayudarás a mantener un ambiente positivo y creativo. 🇬🇧 Arrive on time or better, arrive at least 10 minutes early to the session. In this way you will be able to arrive without stress, to make yourself comfortable in the booth and to greeta all of the participants. Help to ensure a positive and creative ambiance.
4. Show some manners
🇩🇪🇨🇭 Sei freundlich und zuvorkommend – Mach das Arbeiten mit Dir zu einer angenehmen Erfahrung für die Menschen um Dich herum. 🇪🇸 Portate de manera amable y complaciente con todos – Haz que trabajar contigo sea una experiencia agradable para todos a tu alrededor. 🇬🇧 Behave in a friendly and corteous way. Make working with you a pleasent experience for all around you.
5. Work the script
🇩🇪🇨🇭 Bearbeite das Skript, sobald Du es bekommst. Bearbeite es, unterstreiche die wichtigen Wörter oder Aussagen und mach Dir Notizen darauf! Kläre allfällige Zweifel bei der Aussprache mit dem Kunden. Damit stellst Du sicher, dass Du bereit bist, wenn Du in die Kabine gehst. 🇪🇸 Empieza a trabajar el manuscrito cuando lo recibas. Trabajalo, subraya las palabras o los pasajes importantes y toma apuntes sobre el manuscrito. Aclara eventuales dudas de pronunciación con el cliente. De esta manera asegurarás estar listo cuando entres en la cabina. 🇬🇧 Start working the script when you get it. Work it, underline the important words or parts of the scripts and make notes. Clarify eventual doubts of pronounciation with the client. This way you ensure that you are absolutely ready, when you get into the booth.
6. Don't touch the mic
🇩🇪🇨🇭 Wenn du in die Kabine kommst, wird dich wahrscheinlich der Toningenieur begleiten, um die Höhe und der Abstand des Mikrofons zu deinem Mund einzustellen und Dir die Lautstärkenregelung der Kopförer zu erklären. Vermeide es das Mikrofon oder andere Technikelemente ohne ausdrückliche Aufforderung zu berühren. Dein Job ist es, eine gute Performance abzuliefern für die Einstellung ist der Toningenieur zuständig.
🇪🇸 Cuando entrés en la cabina te acompañará el ingeniero de sonido para ajustar la altura y la distancia del micrófono y explicarte como puedes ajustar el sonido de los auriculares como lo desées. No toques el micrófono u otros elementos tecnicos sin requerimiento explicito. Tu tarea es la de entregar una buena locución la técnica es cosa del ingeniero.
🇬🇧 When you'll walk into the booth the sound engineer will come along with you to adjust the height and the distance of the microphone and to give you instructions on how to turn up and down the volume of the headphones. Don't touch the mic or any other tecnical elements unless you are explicitly told to do so. You've been booked to deliver a great voiceover performance the tecnical side is the sound engineers job.
7. Give it all
🇩🇪🇨🇭 Nachdem Du das Skript bearbeitet hast und alles eingerichtet ist, kann es nun losgehen mit der Aufnahme. Zeit nochmals tief durchzuatmen und zu lockern, damit Du bereit bist alles zu geben und Spass haben kannst. Versuche auch bei längeren Sessions locker und offen für die Inputs der Kunden zu bleiben. 🇪🇸 Despues de trabajar el manuscrito y con todos los ajustes hechos, llega el momento de respirar profundamente y destenderte. Preparate para darlo todo y divertirte. En sesiones largas trata de no contraerte y estar suscetible a las instrucciones del cliente. ¡Diviertete!
🇬🇧 After you‘ve worked the script and all the the adjustments have been made, it’s time to take a deep breath and loosen up, so you‘re ready to give it all and have fun! Make sure you don‘t get uptight and stay open for the clients instructions also during longer recording sessions. Have fun!
8. Be mindful
🇩🇪🇨🇭 Sei aufmerksam während der Session. Damit Du die Regieanweisungen umsetzen kannst. Auch wenn z.B. der Kunde mit der Werbeagentur oder dem Toningenieur diskutiert, wirst Du vielleicht nach Deiner Meinung gefragt. Gib Deinen kreativen Input, wenn Du gefragt wirst. Wenn nicht, dann konzentrierst Du Dich auf Deine Arbeit vor dem Mikrofon.
🇪🇸 Estate atento durante la sesión. De esta manera podrás aplicar las instrucciones que recibirás de los clientes. Tambien si empiezan a discutir al otro lado del cristal, escucha atentamente y si te lo piden dales tu input creativo. Si no te lo piden, te concetras en tu trabajo delante del micrófono.
🇬🇧Be mindful to implement the directions you get from the client or the director. If during discussions between the participants on the other side of the glass, you are asked your opinion about something, give them your creative input. If you're not asked, you just concentrate on your job in front of the mic.
9. Offer different versions
🇩🇪🇨🇭 Manchmal hat der Kunde keine genauen Vorstellungen wie sein Text zum Leben erweckt werden soll. Aus diesem Grund ist es wichtig, erstmal eine mögliche Variante anzubieten und danach vielseitig zu interpretieren und verschiedene Versionen zu probieren. Lass Dich davon nicht aus der Ruhe bringen. Meist liegt es nicht an deinem Talent oder Deiner Interpretation sondern eher an der Unschlüssigkeit des Kunden, dass es länger dauert, bis man den richtigen Ton gefunden hat.
🇪🇸 A veces los clientes no saben exactamente como quieren que su texto sea interpretado. Por eso es importante, ofrecer una versión posible y despues explorar diferentes interpretaciones y actitudes en un texto. Quedate tranquilo! La mayoria de las veces no es por tu culpa que estas sesiones duran más tiempo hasta encontrar el tono justo, si no por la indeterminación del cliente.
🇬🇧 Sometimes clients don't really know how they want their script to be brought to life. In these cases it's important to first offer a possible version and from there explore other possible interpretations and attitudes. Stay calm! Mostly it's not because of you, but because of the indecisiveness of the client, that it takes longer until the right tone is found.
10. Be grateful
🇩🇪🇨🇭 Du hast die Chance bekommen, Dein Talent unter Beweis zu stellen. Sei dankbar dafür und geniesse jeden Moment der Session. Verabschiede Dich nach der Session bei allen Teilnehmenden und bedanke Dich nochmals herzlich bei allen.
🇪🇸 Se te ha ofrecido la possibilidad para demostrar tu talento. Muestra du gratitud en cada momento de la sesión disfrutando de tu trabajo. Al terminar la sesión despidete de todos los participantes de la sesión y vuelve a darles las gracias.
🇬🇧 You've received the opportunity to proof your talent. Show your gratitude during every minute of the session, by enjoying doing your job. At the end of the session, say goodbye to everybody and thank them again.
